Road line cleaning and surface preparation

A1 Ultra High has developed a new technology to the Road Line Industry.

What we have developed is a truck mounted machine, in which to either clean existing discoloured Road Lines or Surface Preparation for a new coating to be applied. What this new technology will achieve is a very simple way of avoiding larger problems in the future. By cleaning Road Lines rather than renewing them is an obvious saving on remarking.

Ultra High Pressure Water Blasting is the correct way to achieve the proper Surface Preparation to dirty or contaminated surface prior to laying down new coatings. If when the line is cleaned and does not reach the Australian Standard you have not wasted your time and money, it is now ready to be remarked with the correct Surface Preparation in place.

The reason Road Lines break up and delaminate is because Surface Preparation has not taken place before applying new paint. Road line markings are the only industry that does not use any Surface Preparation before painting. This can be a major cost saving in the future, also our system does not rely on any chemicals what so ever and only uses 11 litres of water per minute at 36,000 PSI.
